Cancled plans, and such.

So remember I was supposed to be going out of town this weekend, to see my bestest friend? Yeah, well, SUPPOSED TO BE.

Wednesday evening we went to the store to get some stuff for our trip. After we left the grocery store, I was driving down the highway, and my car just....stopped. It just shut off, in the middle of the road. Thankfully we were right beside K-mart, so I pulled into the parking lot. We called the Toyota dealership and they said (Praise the Lord!!) that we were still under warranty. So I called my mom, she came and got us, took us home, and Ronnie took them my keys so they could pick up my car; they also said they would get us a loaner car in the meantime.

Thursday morning, my mom took us to Briley's gymnastics class. Thursday afternoon, they called Ronnie.

Bad news: the car's computer just died. Weird.

Good news: everything is still under warranty...parts, labor, loaner car, tow truck, etc. (Yeah!)

Bad news: the new computer won't be in for about a week.

More bad news: they are completely OUT of loaner cars.

Total bummer! They had no idea when they would get another one, but we were on the top of the list. So we called this morning to see if they might have on yet, and no such luck. We didn't get it until LATE this afternoon. That's another story in itself! We got the call that they had a car, so we piled in the Jeep to go get it, and THE JEEP HAS A FLAT TIRE! Of course it does! Why not??? So my parents came and got Ronnie, and took him to get the car, then we both drove to the tire shop, got the tire fixed, and came home. It was such a nice addition to the already crazy vehicle story! Ha!

So I guess this weekend we will just work on stuff for the yardsale. Goodness knows there is p-l-e-n-t-y of that to do.

Other random fun stuff:

They had the Home Depot race car at the store again on Wednesday. We took the kids last summer when it was there, but Deac was just a baby, (you know, a much smaller baby than he is now) and that was back when Tony Stewart was still driving for HD. Now it is some new kid named Joey Lagano (sp?). so we took them up there and got some more pictures.

I am very dissapointed with this picture. It is very blurry. I asked the guy that was running the booth for the car to take it, and he did a poopy job. Oh well!

So that's that. Hopefully we can reschedule our trip soon, we can get lot's of work done this weekend, and it will stop raining so we can have some nice weather! Hope you all have a great weekend!!
