Day 57-59

I am getting so forgetful to post these! At least I am taking pictures. :)

Sunday was my big sister's birthday, and we had a party at her house. Ronnie and I made these cupcakes for her, they are mint oreo cupcakes. WOW. I am not trying to brag, but they were amazing! I found the recipe on Pinterest. I tell you what, Pinterest is the best creation in the history of ever.

Yesterday Deacon and I had a memory tournament. That kid is unbelievable. I don't even try to let him win, I have to try to BEAT him! And he STILL whips me. He beat me every single time. And he cracks me up, because he always wears his hood up in the house. Ha! :)

Today I taught my niece's piano lesson. We have had four lessons now, and she is doing great! We have to do them while Briley is at school so she can focus on her lesson. Ha! I really enjoy spending some one on one time with her; it makes my heart happy. :)

Day 56

I've been needing some new shoes so Ronnie took me to Shoe Carnival today. Aren't these just the cutest? I LOVE yellow!!!! And they were having a buy one get one half off sale, sooooo.......

I got these for Spring!! Love them! And you know the thing I love about these shoes? When you buy a pair of Bobs shoes, Skechers will give a pair of shoes to a child in need. How cool is that?

Day 55

Ronnie went to the shooting range with a friend tonight, and this was his target he brought home. I think with my man around, I'm the safest girl in the city! :)

Day 54

Enjoying Pizza Hut at home from Briley's Book-It program. She actually got a free personal pan, but she ate it all and was eating some of ours before I remembered to take a picture. :)

Day 52 & 53

Trying to catch up, haven't been feeling well......

(Tuesday) Two books that Briley read to me for her Book-It pizza chart. She is doing amazing!

(Wednesday) My cuddle buddy. We were both feeling sickly with allergies, so we cuddled up and watched movies on the couch all morning. I don't like feeling sick, but I love cuddle times with my boy!





Day 51

This is for yesterday.......

Deacon was so excited yesterday, we bought him a new "big boy" carseat, as he calls it. He has been too big for his other one for months now, but I wanted to keep him in it as long as possible. We finally gave in and got him this one last night. He is super happy that he has a seat like sissy, and can unbuckle himself. I have to admit, it's kind of nice for me. ;)

Day 50

We have been working on expanding our pantry and food storage, and also other items just for preparation. This afternoon we built these shelves in our garage. The bottom is gasoline and fuel for lanterns. The second shelf are 5 gallon buckets we have begun to fill with flour, sugar, rice, etc., and cleaning supplies. (The buckets are food grade, and with the special lids, they will keep the food good up to 3 years!) We also have a shelf for food, cooking supplies, medical supplies, and paper products. We do not have everything we want or need, but it's a good start!
